Born in Bursa in 1967, Osman Akın completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Bursa. In 1988, he obtained a degree in Electronics Engineering, followed by a degree in Electronics Engineering in 1992. Until 1995, he conducted doctoral studies at Uludağ University while working as an academician.
Since 1995, he has been involved in commercial activities in the fields of Electronics and Computers at AGB Electronics, a wholesale distributor. In 2002, he founded "Teknolojix," one of Turkey's first Technology Retail Chains, alongside AGB Electronics. In 2011, he expanded AGB to a national scale with 2000 dealers across Turkey and grew Teknolojix to 47 stores in 22 cities. In 2011, he sold his shares in AGB Electronics and Teknolojix to Sönmez Holding and acquired a 50% stake in Teracity Software Company in 2012.
Currently, he serves as the Chairman and partner of TERACITY Software Inc., producing Digital Transformation technologies in the Public, Private, and Defense Industries, and DST Digital Health Technology Inc., producing Remote Health System Technologies.
He is married and a father of one child.
