Reyhan Aktar, who is the business owner of the famous Tavacı Recep Usta in Diyarbakır and is a Certified Public Accountant, was born in Diyarbakır in 1984.
She has been working on topics such as the business world, women in the region and the problems they encounter in business life, employment, the spread of entrepreneurship culture, etc. since 2010 at Diyarbakir Business Women’s Association (DİKAD), Diyarbakir’s first business women’s organization, which was established in 2004. She has been the President of the Diyarbakır Business Women’s Association (DİKAD) since 2015.
She completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Diyarbakır. She is a graduate of Çukurova University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics. She continues her master’s degree with a thesis in the Department of Economics of the Institute of Social Sciences at Dicle University. She graduated from Bahçeşehir University School of Politics program in 2014 and from Boğaziçi University School of Politics Program in 2016.
She worked as a columnist for the GAP supplement of Posta newspaper and is a member of the editorial board and a columnist in Turkey's first Kurdish-Turkish magazine, Economy/ABORİ.
