Born in Van in 1966, Suat Çiftçi completed his primary and secondary school in Van and high school in Ankara and completed his education in these cities. After working as a freelancer in various business lines, Çiftçi started to work in the construction sector in 1995, and has been among the partners of İNELSAN İnşaat since 2000.
Later, in 2016, he took over ÖZ ARAS GROUP İnşaat and served as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors and still continues its production-based construction activities today, especially in the construction contracting sector in various fields.
In addition, in the field of LEGOYAP Concrete Prefabricated Building Elements, which he founded in 2017, he established LEGOYAP Concrete Prefabricated Building Elements Production Factory in Balıkesir's 1st Organized Industrial Zone. Çiftçi has undertaken many projects in the construction sector and contracting business.
He served during the period from 2013 to 2016 as the President of Van Dynamic Industry and Business Association (VADSİAD), which was established in 2013 while he was the founding chairman.
He, as founding president, founded the Eastern Industry and Business Federation (DOĞUSİFED) in 2014, based in Van, covering the provinces of Van, Hakkari, Bitlis and Muş. Having been elected President of DOĞUSİFED’s board of directors after the general assembly held on April 4, 2015, Çiftçi continued his duty as President from 2014 to 2021. At the general assembly meeting held in February 2021, he terminated his duty as the board of directors in accordance with the two-term rule, and continues his duty as President of the DOĞUSİFED High Advisory Board.
Çiftçi, who also served as a Board Member of TÜRKONFED in 2015-2018 and 2018-2021, continues to serve as a member of TÜRKONFED's board of directors in the 2021-2024 period.
