Semiha Güneş, who took her first steps into her professional career by establishing Epig Architecture Engineering Trade and Tourism Limited Company in 1982, graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Architecture in 1977 after attending Izmir Kız Lisesi (Izmir Girls High School).
Since its establishment to the present day, she has been awarded numerous awards for her various projects in different regions of Turkey. Some of these award-winning projects include: first prize in the Bornova Municipality Social Housing Project Competition, best building award with the Ege Ospar building, first prizes in invited project competitions such as Ebso, Boliva, Narova, Yaşar University, Bakırçay University, Turkey's best mixed-use project award in the Sign of the City competition with Ontan Tower and Mahall Bomonti Izmir projects, and Turkey's best residential project award in the Sign of the City competition with the Mesa Urla Kekliktepe 3rd phase project.
In the early years of her architectural career, she played an active role in professional specialization and chamber inspections at the Izmir Chamber of Architects. She has served as a board member of Yeşilova Sports Club, İzsiad (İzmir Industrialists and Businessmen's Association), and has been Vice President of İzsiad for two terms. She currently continues her duties as a board member of İzsiad and a member of the High Advisory Board of İzmir Chamber of Commerce. With a consciousness of contributing to the city, she has been involved in social projects, designing projects such as Karşıyaka Monument and Women's Museum, Konak Toros Market, Multi-Purpose Hall, Urla Environmental Arrangement, Balçova Municipality Cultural Center.
She has provided consultancy services to companies such as İŞGYO, Zorlu Group, Suryapı, Türkerler. She has also contributed to various high-quality projects in different categories such as İzmir Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneurship Center, Bilecik Serel Complex, Selçuk Pharmacy Warehouses, Şile Ege Construction Project, Megapol Izmir, Renaissance Mansion, Velux, Navac Konak, İzmir World Eye Hospital.
