Born in 1961 in İkizce village of Yeşilyurt district of Malatya, Hüseyin Kış completed his primary and secondary education in Malatya. He still continues his education at Anadolu University Business Administration Department and continues to improve his competencies with both academy and personal trainings.
Hüseyin Kış, who started his business life adventure in Mersin in 1979 with the sale of construction materials, is now involved in construction, IT, automotive, insurance, architecture, restaurant, tourism, white goods and electronics, marble and energy sectors in Malatya, Mersin, Anamur, Erdemli, Taşucu and Istanbul. He continues as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Derya Grup AŞ, which has become an exemplary and distinguished company with its employment and labor force as well as bringing social value to Mersin province with approximately 44 brand representatives. Derya Grup A.Ş. also undertakes the representation of global brands such as Hyundai, Volvo, Samsung, Siemens, Mazda and Mitsubishi MG, BYD in Mersin province.
Hüseyin Kış aimed to set an example to the people around him at every opportunity by taking degrees in various Social Responsibility sports activities in Mersin province. By presenting the formation of Derya Otomotiv Art Street in Mersin Mezitli district to the people of Mersin, he ensured that they had a fun time with all the children on April 23rd and Disabled Day celebrations with their own organizations. In addition to this, Derya Group aims to stand by art and artists in all artistic activities that will provide added value to our city.
Hüseyin Kış, who is married and has 2 children, has set the goal of contributing with new projects to his region as the President of Çukurova Industry and Business Federation (2021-2024) in December 2021.
