Burcu Toppare

Project Coordinator

Burcu Toppare was born in Ankara and graduated from Gazi University, Department of Urban and Regional Planning. She did her master's degree on (MSc)Urban Economic Development at University College London. During her master's degree, she conducted fieldwork within the scope of "New Settlements in Cairo Program". She wrote her thesis on "Central and Local Governments, Post-Earthquake Economic Development - The case of Kocaeli".

She started her career in 2003 as a project assistant in Turkey Greece Pipeline project. Afterwards, she continued her career as a business development and project specialist in EU and internationally funded (KFW, World Bank) projects. Most recently she worked as a Deputy Project Coordinator in a construction firm, for Binghazi Housing and University superstructure projects.

As of September 2023, she has been working as Project Coordinator for the EU funded NEET-Pro Project under the roof of TÜRKONFED.
