Yasemin Özbal

Born in Istanbul, completed high school education in Lycée Saint Joseph Istanbul. She studied Economics in Galatasaray University and attained her master’s degree from Galatasaray University Economics Department in 2012. She started PhD programme of Economics (English) in Marmara University in 2015. Her research interests include economic development, regional development and economic history of Turkish Republic.

She is working at TURKONFED since 2012 where she contributes to economic researches and projects conducted. She also contributed to TURKONFED’s recent research reports (Doğu ve Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi’nde Girişimciler için Kurumsal Sosyal Sorumluluk – 2015, Bölgesel Kalkınma Dinamikleri: İhracat ve Sanayi Kenti Gaziantep – 2015, Bölgesel Kalkınmada Yerel Dinamikler: Ürün Tuzağını Aşabilen Antalya için 2023 Senaryoları).
