Erhan  Arslan

A PhD Candidate and an expert on EU foreign policy, Erhan Arslan completed his BA on International Relations at Istanbul Bilgi University at first rank with high honor. He completed his MA degree on European Studies at Boğaziçi University at first rank with honor. In 2013, he was awarded a Jean Monnet scholarship, an EU Commission co-project that funds 100 scholars in Turkey annually, that he completed with an MA degree on International Relations from Queen Mary, University of London where he wrote a dissertation on the EU’s Foreign Policy towards the Arab Spring. He continues his PhD studies at Koç University where he takes supporting role in teaching and research projects since 2014. 

Between 2012 and 2013, Arslan served as an expert and a project coordinator in international education sector, then in 2016 he assumed the duties of managing editor at Turkish Policy Quarterly, a policy journal based based in Turkey, until early 2019. He is a founding member of the Co-Opinion Network. His various research projects and degrees has previously been funded by Community Volunteers Foundation, Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports, Koç University and the EU Commission. His articles, reviews and reports were published on academic and policy platforms. He speaks English and German. He working as an Expert at TURKONFED since January 2019.
