The annual Corporate Governance Summit, organised by the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey took place at Sabancı Center on January 14th with high attendance. TÜRKONFED President Tarkan Kadooğlu attended the Summit, delivering the opening speech.
In his speech, Kadooğlu said: 'Fairness, transparancy, accountability and responsibility are the four globally recognised principles of corporate governance. Being effective, consistent and inclusive is of utmost importance while following these four principles. It is the duty of NGO's and of civil society to contribute to these principles. Today, corporate governance is no longer just a necessity, but a need to achive sustainability'
